Job description
Training pay: $23 per hour

- Training pay of $23.00 per hour; then, if you choose, you can move to piece rate compensation. The average compensation for our established drivers is $50,000-$60,000 a year and all deliveries are local.

- Responsible for operating either a 45,000-pound or a 42.000 vehicle with a single axle trailer
- Loading, unloading and delivery set up of merchandise for our customers
- Handling and securing of all merchandise
- Coordinating with the delivery office and customers in resolving any problems encountered during the delivery
- All other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Driver’s License and a good driving history
- Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills
- Must be very detailed oriented, and good at solving problems
- Must be able to attain a DOT medical card
- Able to lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Must be able to become certified on forklift and other moving equipment
- Ability to handle and resolve difficult situations that may arise during delivery
We provide onsite training and one on one coaching from our support staff. Overtime may be required depending on workload. To help keep our employees and customers safe, we perform a criminal background check and drug screen.
