Responsibilities
  • Approaches, greet and offers assistance or direction to any customers that enter the dealership showroom or lot.
  • Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Perform walk-around with customers and explains fully product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
  • Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
  • Often test drives to all prospects, follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive.
  • Effectively close automotive sales.
  • Utilizes dealership sales control and follow up systems that encourages repeat business and referrals.
  • Exhibit high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories., and their benefits to customers.
  • Reports to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, reviews, analyses and planned activities.
  • Attends training and sales meetings offered by the dealership and manufactures.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a H.S Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Possess understanding and knowledge of equity and values, automobile depreciation, and local, state and federal laws that guild automobiles.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professional dress sense that portrays neat and smart personality.
  • Must be able to sell minimum quota according to dealership standards.
  • At least one year of sales or vehicle sales experience
