Position Summary:


The Sales Analyst will assist in increased sales and profitability of the EVAL market in North America. The Sales Analyst will work with both internal and external data systems to create and maintain and build reports for key stakeholders within the company. The selected candidate will complete a comprehensive sales training program. This position requires up to 50% travel.


Other responsibilities include the preparation and implementation of enhanced sales tools development programs and maintaining persistent follow-up, while coordinating and directing the efforts of support groups within EVAL BU.


The purpose of the Sales Analyst position is to coordinate the promotion of EVAL resins in our target markets. This includes participation in industry-specific trade shows and the promotion of our products through various media.


The purpose of the Sales Analyst team member position is to participate in and contribute to the activities towards the attainment of the objectives as stated in the EVAL Business Plan. This includes developing and implementing strategic and tactical customer plans to meet sales volume, margin and market development objectives as well as to identify and fulfill market requirements


Responsibilities
:


  • As a member of EVAL Team, the Sales Analyst candidate will be responsible for:
    • The continual monitoring, profiling and detailing of the business climate, market trends, and competitive activity in the barrier market, including the identification of current market requirements, emerging market opportunities, as well as potential threats to EVAL's position.
    • The development of a strategy and plan to address market issues, satisfy market requirements and attain EVAL's overall market objectives.
    • The effective and efficient deployment of EVAL resources towards the attainment of these objectives.
    • Managing the process of developing and commercializing new products and applications to meet and exceed current and future market requirements.
    • Maintaining detailed customer and market data in EVAL's network database.

  • As an Account Manager, candidate will be responsible for:
    • Providing accurate short- and long-term usage forecasts.
    • Working closely with the credit department to anticipate and correct any customer credit issues.
    • Creating and maintaining profiles for all customers in the formed market.
    • Maintaining overall customer satisfaction for flexible-formed accounts, including:
      • The provision of technical assistance to package designers and processors regarding existing and new applications of EVAL resins in high barrier structures.
      • Negotiating the resolution of customer complaints.
      • Determining, coordinating, and directing the services of EVAL's management, marketing, and technology personnel to foster the sales of EVAL resins. Perform duties within EVAL's safety guidelines.

  • As Marketing Representative,
    candidate will be:
    • Accountable for the successful representation of EVAL's tradeshow efforts including the scheduling of EVAL personnel, the arrangement for booths, hospitality suites, and meeting rooms, and the management of promotional materials.
    • Also accountable for the successful coordination of EVAL's off-site, internal meetings as the need arise.

  • Manage Rolling Demand Forecast and Data analysis
  • Prepare EVAL BU Monthly Sales Tables
  • Contribute to KAI profitability by analyzing logistics costs and highlighting anomalies
  • Developing and maintaining databases, data systems - reorganizing data into a readable format
  • Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the predication and diagnosis of various issues
  • Analyze local, national, and global trends that impact the organization as well as the industry
  • Work with other members of EVAL PM, CS and Sales to identify process improvement opportunities and propose system modifications
  • Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to make important decisions based on various trends and facts



Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelors of Science Degree in a STEM (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) discipline required.
  • Advanced computer skills with advanced knowledge in Excel, PowerBI and Salesforce.
  • Must possess the ability to learn quickly and to use and understand new technology
  • Capable of traveling domestically to meet with clients on average of 40% of your work month and sometimes internationally.
  • Strong human resources skills with the ability to relate to the needs of others and to manage and solve conflicts both internal and external
  • High level of initiative eager to take ownership of responsibilities
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and develop a portfolio of accounts
  • Emotional maturity sufficient to deal with rejection while continuing to persist in efforts to influence the marketplace.
  • Ability to work within United States



Preferred Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2-years' experience working with plastic in a processing plant, lab, or manufacturing center.
  • Previous experience resin sales, preferred areas such as: blown or cast film production, blow molding, extrusion coating, and sheet extrusion and thermoforming obtained through training programs or on job experience.
  • Previous Interaction experience with customers through market development or application development obtained in job experience
  • Strong analytical skills including planning, data analysis, budgeting, and reporting experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and facilitating change
  • Successful cross-cultural communication with global overseas offices
  • Demonstrated detailed working experience with data visualization software such PowerPivot, Power BI, or Power Query, including report creation and modification
  • Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations
  • Extensive use and know-how of SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
