Job Title: Sales Associate Extraordinaire!

Job Location: Once Upon A Child Clearwater, US19/Curlew area

Job Type: Part-time (10-40 hours per week)

Our Once Upon A Child is seeking a Sales Associate Extraordinaire to join our team. As a sales associate, you'll be responsible for greeting and assisting customers, answering questions about products, and providing an outstanding customer experience. You'll also be responsible for maintaining the store's appearance, organizing merchandise, and processing incoming items and processing sales transactions.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Passionate about fashion and kids' clothing and shoes
• Outgoing and friendly with excellent communication skills
• A quick learner who is able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Organized with great attention to detail
• A team player who is able to work collaboratively with others

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Help customers find what they're looking for and make recommendations based on their needs
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Purchase gently used quality kids’ clothing, shoes, toys, books, and baby gear from our customer base
• Maintain the appearance of the store by organizing merchandise, stocking shelves, and keeping the store clean
• Participate in store events and promotions
• Work collaboratively with other team members and provide an outstanding customer experience

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work a flexible afternoon schedule, including at least one weekend shift
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds and sometimes more
