ABC Communications is seeking full-time highly motivated and driven sales associates to join our team! Sales Associates will assist with selling advertising space for our Lifestyle Neighborhood Resource Guide to local businesses within the Western Suburbs.

Job Duties:

• Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making a sale.

• Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients.

• Setting up meetings with potential clients to present advertising proposals and address their concerns.

• Attending and assisting with sales meetings, showcases, expos as required.

• Persuading clients to purchase ABC Communications advertising services by communicating the benefits of various types of advertising.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Excellent communications, organizational and analytical skills

• Strong negotiation and consultative skills

• Exceptional customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or associate's degree in advertising, communications, or related field is preferred.

• At least 1 to 2 years working in advertising sales

ABC Communications is a commission based business! We give proposals for all custom projects and monies are paid as monies are received; 30-50% based on responsibilities.
