Position Title: Sales Operations Associate

Location: Remote (Overseeing areas in the West Region – Seattle, LA, Portland, Denver)

Reports To: Director of Sales, Speakman

POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Sales Operations Associate primary role is to research, identify and quote opportunities. Partnering with a Regional Sales Manager to grow the pipeline of opportunities in a specific region as well as work with finance to prepare monthly sales results for the Speakman rep agencies and distribution sales.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Align with channel partners to build pipelines and close deals
• Examine quotes and specs for opportunities to add additional products to packages
• Daily maintains and updates company’s database of prospects within assigned territory in CRM system
• Research and identify opportunities to generate interest for the company
• Sources new prospects through inbound lead follow-up, Bid-Clerk, FW Dodge Services and outbound cold calls and emails, including quote submittals to increase sales
• Monthly financial statements for customers

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM software
• Strong collaborating skills, ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable is a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines. Need to be high energy, self-motivated and proactive
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
