Please Note: This is a base + salary position. Base salary is $40,000 plus uncapped commission potential.

Job Description

Our Cannabis Sales Reps play a vital role in selling premium cannabis to wholesale accounts, cultivating great customer relationships, servicing current accounts, and promoting Emerald Brand products within the cannabis industry. They should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, be self-motivated and have great attention to detail. They will be responsible for maximizing sales and profitability by focusing on overall business initiatives, continually driving sales for immediate and future growth and will maintain positive and profitable business relationships with all accounts and work seamlessly with internal personnel to fill the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

● Maintain and develop relationships with buyers at top medical and recreational cannabis companies to ensure ongoing sales

● Generate new customer leads and maintain a contact sales call log to ensure communication and touch rates for potential customers

● Create and maintain spreadsheets with current menu options, availability of inventory, key performance indicators and sales metrics

● Establish, develop, and maintain key accounts to ensure purchasing needs are being met, increase future sales and excellent customer service is provided

● Input orders in a timely manner and follow up with customers to ensure proper accuracy of fulfillment

● Train and educate current and prospective cannabis retailers on Emerald Brands brand and product offerings

● Maintain an ongoing knowledge of product offerings, features, and benefits, MRA rules and regulations, MMFLA & MRTMA, as well as local competitors and brands

● Consistently provide leadership with customer feedback regarding product selections, inventory levels and industry trends or promotions

● Work closely with marketing and leadership to help conceptualize campaigns, strategies, and training needs

Experience and Requirements

● College degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred

● 2+ years of experience as a sales representative

● 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced guest-centric environment

● Must have reliable transportation with clean driving record

● Flexible schedule with the ability to travel up to 50% of the time (including but not limited to evening and weekend hours when necessary)

● Minimum of 21 years of age

● Must pass criminal background check and drug screening (excludes THC)

● Must be compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the Cannabis industry

● Ability to stand for long periods

● Ability to lift 25 lbs.

● Knowledge of basic computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
