About the Role:
The Salon Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting top key opinion leader salons in the OLAPLEX network while also growing our network of top salons. They will be tasked with ensuring sales targets are met within the target salon group as well ensuring the building of each salon's profile in close cooperation with Education, Social Media and PR.
- Maintain current relationships with highly influential salons and prospect for potential key opinion leader salons to meet quarterly goals
- Deliver against personal performance metrics, including new door opportunities and overall growth of current accounts
- Master knowledge of OLAPLEX brand and products, and confidently convey information to salons
- Identify and develop long term growth activities for all accounts to increase market share and new partnerships
- Organize and execute planning meetings with salon owners to consult on business promotions, strategy, education, salon events and social media partnerships
- Drive demand and brand awareness within the salon ensuring each salon is representing the OLAPLEX brand to the highest standards
- Build and nurture a collaborative partnership with cross-functional teams to expand account opportunities
- Collaborate with Distributor partners to open new potential key opinion leader doors and grow existing key opinion leader salon's business virtually and by in-person account visits and planning meetings
- Work closely with manager to achieve overall channel sales targets
- Identify and advise OLAPLEX management of any opportunities for improvement within current procedures and processes
- Report competitive market activity and customer insights to the company
About You:
- High comfort level in speaking to and working with very influential salon owners
- Ability to initiate and maintain customer relationships virtually as well as in person
- Ability to travel up to 70% of each month within the North American territory (US/Canada)
- Passion for the Beauty Industry and a minimum of 5 years sales experience
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and solution-oriented
- Ability to learn and master new information quickly
- Strong communication and presentation skills
