Advanced Personnel Resources is partnering with a family-owned organization of 35 years located in Greensboro, NC to fill an SAP Accounting Manager position. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of accounting experience as well as SAP experience.

Responsibilities for Accounting Manager
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payroll and expense reporting functions
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Responsible for month-end and year-end close processes
- Work with external auditors on the annual inventory process
- Work with external auditors to ensure correct, timely closing with reporting quarter-end and year-end audits
- Fixed Assets, including additions, disposals, and monthly depreciation
- Monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Handle the intercompany transactions
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
Qualifications for Accounting Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience in SAP, On Base, and Blackline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Confidentiality across all levels of the organization
- Well organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage/prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
