Summary
Saw Operators are responsible for processing material for production orders for the On-Target Machine facility. In this capacity, you will be responsible for gathering materials, setting up the saw operations as identified in blueprints or jobs, and cutting materials as needed for job completion at the CNC machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Set-up and operate saws following all safety precautions and guidelines
· Accurately read blueprints and measure
· Efficiently use materials and appropriately report scrap
· Proper ERP system data entry
· Following job scheduling as indicated in ERP system

Education and/or Experience
· High School diploma or equivalent
· CNC experience helpful, but not required
Physical Demands
· Standing, reaching, bending, squatting
· Lifting 75 pounds occasionally
· Small hand tool use

While performing the duties and responsibilities of this position, the employee is occasionally required to use hands to operate machine, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach above shoulders. The incumbent will regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or touch and move from place to place. Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
During the performance of his/her work duties, the incumbent will be occasionally required to lift up to 75 pounds, and will frequently lift up to 25 pounds, such as moving parts from skid to skid.

The employee works in a production facility environment and may be exposed to hot temperatures in the summer months and cold temperatures during the winter months. Safety shoes and eye protection are required at all times, as well as any other PPE identified by the company.
