Together, we are embarking on a journey where each one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences. • One-time Sign on Bonus - $500.00 (after 90-days, eligible for external hires) • Pay – $21.00-$24.00/hr DOE • Shift Time Monday-Friday 6:00am 2:30pm w/occasional mandatory Saturday’s The 400,000 sq. ft facility in Phoenix, AZ serves as the West Coast Distribution Center for ABB’s Electri-fication Installation Products business (formerly known as Thomas & Betts). More than 3,000 products from across Installation Products’ entire portfolio are stocked at this new Distribution Center. ABB In-stallation Products is the leading manufacturer of marquee products needed in the electrification eco-system, including key brands such as T&B Liquidtight Fittings, Ty-Rap, Elastimold and Blackburn/Color Keyed products.
Your responsibilities
- Coordinate with Transportation Management, Outbound Leadership, and carriers to arrange timely order and direct delivery pick up
- Coordinate with Transportation Management, Inbound Leadership, and carriers to schedule inbound freight appointments
- Performs systematic trailer arrival and departure
- Prepare necessary documentation and contact carriers for pick up
- Monitors, updates and actions in transit report and error logs
- Aid customer service representatives concerning order status and special customer needs
- Document control for Purchase Orders and Bills of Lading
- Serve as a primary back up to the Senior Clerk (shipping)
- Other duties as deemed necessary or assigned
Your background
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Computer skills required - Microsoft Word, Excel
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to lift to 40 lbs. frequently
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to adapt to changing situations
- Good interpersonal skills
- Detailed and team oriented
- Flexible to work different shifts if necessary and overtime with little or no notice
