School Counselor
2022-2023 School Year
AnthroMed Education is a local practice of Special Educators, including our team of dedicated School Counselors, who believe that all students have the right to receive quality services in a school-based setting. As a team of professionals, AnthroMed is committed to providing our School Counselors with the support they need to further succeed in their careers.
Right now, we are seeking a School-Based Counselor to join our team for an onsite position working in Calumet Park, IL. This full-time position will be working with students who are in Pre-K - 2ndGrade for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year.
Location: Calumet Park, IL
Position details:
- Support a caseload of 17 students
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for students
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and other school faculty
- Use IEP system: Easy IEP
- Provide both push-in and pull-out services
- SEL classes in the mornings
- Work with an intern who is there M, W, F
- Bonus: The counselor will have their own office
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications required:
- Master’s Degree in School Counseling
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Counselor endorsement
- Experience working with students from Pre-K-2nd
