SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST

Position to start as soon as possible

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Valid New Jersey Educational Services Certificate and School Psychologist Endorsement.

2. Knowledge of laws and regulations governing special education and demonstrated ability to effectively provide evaluation, classification, and placement of students, and develop and case manage individualized educational plans.

3. Ability to work with other professionals in a team environment for the benefit of our students.

4. Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

5. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL EDUCATION

JOB GOAL: To effectively assess student learning characteristics and design appropriate instructional plans in order to enable each pupil to maximize his/her learning potential

SALARY: In accordance with the BREA Negotiated Agreement
