Script & Production Coordinator - SPT Kids
Job description
Looking for an energetic, super-organized self-starter to provide administrative and creative support to the Executive Producers (EPs) on the 2nd season of a hit animated series for kids. The primary responsibilities are to assist the Head Writer (HW/EP) in the creation & editing of scripts, and the Executive Producers and Associate Producer (AP) in managing assets to & from the Record Studio, Animation Studio, Mix Studio and assorted internal and external partners.
This is a unique opportunity for the right person, who will report to the Executive Producers and work closely with them on every aspect of the show, from script to animation to sound mix to marketing.
Responsibilities
Script Coordinator - assist the HW/EP in all aspects of script creation:
- Conduct & compile RESEARCH
- Find & secure locations for Writers Meetings/Brainstorms, purchase & prepare materials
- Attend meetings, TAKE NOTES
- Compile/edit story notes into “proto-premises,” per HW
- Perform minor script revisions, per HW
- Send & track scripts for partner notes (internal, broadcaster, educational consultants, etc.)
- ARCHIVE & ASSET MANAGEMENT: organize and save all scripts & notes to BOX server
- Create “Broadcast Script” drafts
Script & Production - Recording Sessions:
- Send scripts and animation to record studio
- Help studio engineer/voice director schedule meetings & sessions w/producers
- Manage PICK-UP TRACKER
- Create cast lists and casting documents
- Attend records via zoom, take notes
Production Coordinator - provide administrative support & assist producers in all aspects of production:
- ASSET MANAGEMENT - organize & save all materials (designs, animation, music, etc.) to the BOX server
- BOOK & COORDINATE TRAVEL w/ producers and Sony Travel Department
- AWARDS – gather & submit materials
- CALENDAR - schedule all meetings: internal, animation studio, etc.
- SOCIAL MEDIA/MARKETING – assist AP with creating social media posts, materials for marketing, short-form content, etc.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication (written, oral, and interpersonal), strong organizational skills and an ability to multitask
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
- Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Photoshop
- Proficiency in Final Draft, Premiere and/or After Effects a plus
- Prior experience in television or animation production a plus
