Federal Data Systems is looking for a Scrum Master to work closely with Business Analysts and subject matter experts to understand requirements and translate into epics and stories.
Essential Job Functions:

Lead daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos and other Agile ceremonies.

Work with other Agile teams to effectively design, build and deliver cloud-based solutions.
- Facilitates team events, including (where applicable) the daily stand-up, and sprint demos.
- Works with developers, BAs, and testers to identify and eliminate roadblocks.
- Coordinates with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and identify requirements.
- Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Must have 3-5 years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst or Scrum Master.
- Required Security Clearance: (Public Trust)
- An understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Working Conditions:
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.
Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
Background Screening/Check/Investigation:
Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
