Position Overview:

This position requires a strong, reliable, and eager individual who is willing to work with a team of snow wizards. The demands of this job revolve around snow and ice management during unpredictable hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays. You must be inspired by snowfall and inclement weather; when winter weather strikes, we need you!

Day-to-Day Stuff:

Exceeding client expectations is our main philosophy at Perficut and you are an important part of making it happen. As needed and at varying hours, you will work closely with your supervisor, travelling around to sites clearing sidewalks and other designated areas with either a shovel, snow blower, or broadcast spreader. Other responsibilities will be assigned as needed.

What you need to succeed:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation
• Interest in learning to operate heavy equipment
• Reliability. Due to the urgency of clients needs during the snow season we have a zero-tolerance policy for absenteeism in our snow division. We have a responsibility to our clients that is second to none and if it snows our Snow Team MUST be there to help.
• Experience in snow and ice removal preferred, but not required
• Passion for details

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing, with the ability to be mobile throughout required work areas. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. In addition to these factors, the employee will be exposed to winter weather conditions such as extreme cold, wind chill, wind gusts, snowfall, ice, and other unpredictable environmental elements.
