LEFCON is looking for an Information Security Analyst that is experienced in countering security incidents, anticipating, and reducing the likelihood of future security alerts, and disasters. Team members will work as part of our Security Operations Center to analyze incidents related to network traffic, intrusion alerts, monitoring alerts, user reported security events and responding to them appropriately.

This position will work with internal teams and customers to define, plan, implement new technologies, security controls, trainings, and reporting. Participate in meetings and calls with key stakeholders to develop the implementation plan for new services. Additional aspects include monitoring security access and maintaining the relevant data. Conduct vulnerability testing and presenting remediation plans, generate reports and providing insights on the efficacy of the current security posture, incident responses, disaster recovery plans, and other security-related information.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and process daily security operations tasks including the review of notifications, tickets, and alerts from sources such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint online, endpoint security tools, firewalls, IDS, operating system, server logs
• Participate in the implementation, configuration, tuning, and management of information security controls
• Participate in information security incident response, investigation, analysis, documentation
• Stay abreast of information security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls
• Research current attack trends, attack vectors, methodologies, and sources of malware
• Deliver information security training to staff
• Document information security controls to assist with governance, risk, and compliance
• Collaborate with IT staff and project teams to enhance organizational security posture and delivery quality

Qualifications:

• Four years of experience in as an information security analyst, SOC analyst, security engineer, or related role
• Experience with security analysis in Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Cloud App security and Security & Compliance Center
• Experience with security policies in Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Intune, conditional access policies, DLP, Microsoft Defender for 365
• Working knowledge of: IDS/IPS, web content filter/proxy, Endpoint Detection & Response tools, logging, and monitoring tools, CASB and SIEM solutions
• Experience with incident response processes and procedures
• Experience evaluating systems for indicators of compromise
• Knowledge and understanding of information security concepts and practices
• Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST 800-171, CMMC, and/or ISO27001 standards and controls
• Excellent written communication skills, interpersonal, and teaching skills good anticipation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Function effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related area
• Industry Certifications: Net+, Security+
• Experience in the Hospitality Industry
• Experience reading and developing remediation plans from internal and external

vulnerability scans

• Experience implementing MFA
• Experience with Compliance Standards and Regulations:PCI-DSS

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
