Lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 lbs., sitting for long periods of time, walking for long periods of time, standing for long periods of time, handling intermittent periods of high levels of stress.
Shift
Security Supervisors must be able to work any of the following shifts:
12 hour shifts with rotating weekends off:
7 am – 7 pm
7 pm – 7 am
or
8 hour shifts on either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift:
1st shift – 6:45 am to 3:15 pm
2nd shift – 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm
3rd shift – 10:45 pm to 7:15 am
Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, Holidays, and mandatory Overtime.

Job Summary
Supervise and oversee a shift of Security Officers; maintain time records and scheduling of shifts and special assignments; makes sure employees are up to date with training requirements, proper compliance with JACHO, departmental, hospital and University policies. Coordinate training of new officers to respective shifts. Holds inspections of officers; other duties as assigned.
