Oasis is seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Accountant to join our growing company. Oasis is an entrepreneurial private equity backed company. With a commitment to innovation, Oasis is well established as the market leader in the industry. The Senior Accountant reports directly to the Accounting Manager. The qualified candidate for this position must be able to work on a hybrid basis with two in-office days and three remote workdays. Local candidates only please.

Position Responsibilities:

• General journal entries across several different legal entities
• Month-end close duties – accruals, prepaids, general ledger (g/l) system uploads, supporting analyses, reconciliations, etc.
• Financial statement variance reporting
• Regulatory reporting across several states
• Trade associations accounting and reporting
• Field questions and information requests from financial statement and bank auditors
• Some accounts payable invoice entry
• Assist with special projects in Accounting and Tax areas

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required (Accounting major required)
• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience (large company preferred)
• Working knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, and application in practice
• Financial products industry experience preferred but not required
• Solid work ethic, including ability to follow-up, focus on details, self-review and take initiative
• Ability to take direction and also work independently
• Solid PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel; experience with higher-end g/l systems and report writers preferred
• CPA preferred
