Culmen International is hiring a
Senior Acquisition Logistics Analyst to provide support for the program management office supporting the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) located in
Fort Belvoir, VA.
The Acquisition Logistics Analyst shall provide input to the Program Manager (PM), Deputy Program Manager (DPM), Assistant Program Managers (APMs), SOF and Army staff in support of specific programs. Specifically, the contractor shall perform Life Cycle Logistics, Logistics management and Program-related analyses as provided as Government Furnished Information.
Roles and responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Provides input to acquisition and business management processes, to maintain materiel and non-materiel accountable records in support of inspections and audits, develops life cycle logistics estimates, coordinates materiel fielding and transfers, and performs various force management functions to document material and non-material authorizations and divestitures
- Provides input to Government personnel pertaining to life cycle logistics and logistics management as it pertains to integrated product support and configuration management
- Provides input to developing acquisition strategies and plans to support research, development, production, acquisition, and sustainment of systems
- Provides input to the PM, DPM, and APMs in accordance with Life Cycle Logistics and Logistics management Directives and Regulations in order to develop program support documentation (e.g., SAMP, APB, AoA, etc.) that will support the acquisition strategy/plan, and provide input to acquiring appropriate approvals specified by the Program Manager, PEO and the Acquisition Executive
- Provides input on the preparation of new requirements documentation, and input on new equipment and system Statements of Objectives (SOOs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) and Performance Work Statements (PWS) to satisfy validated unit requirements tracking the status of procurement actions.
- Prepare and submit logistics data to the receiving organization and supply support activity
- Provides input to procurement and acquisition planning sessions with departments' stakeholders to ensure understanding of life cycle logistics and logistics management support requirements, as well as associated roles, responsibilities and timeframes
- Interprets planning guidance, analyzing data and performing life cycle logistics and logistics management analysis
- Defines configuration items’ physical and functional attributes, submitting input into the cataloging request process, and requesting the establishment of SKOs as required per AR 71-32, DA PAM 71-32, AR 708-1, DA PAM 708 series 1/2/3, and DA PAM 700-60
- Provides development and justification of organizational programs to determine short term and long term requirements, ensuring these requirements relate to the overall organizational objective and provide updates to appropriate logistics databases
- Maintains current knowledge of advancements in the area of Life Cycle Logistics and Logistics management in accordance with DOD, USSOCOM and the Army to determine new applications to unit requirements
Basic Requirements:
- TS Clearance with SCI Access eligibility required
- Master’s degree in Business Management, or a field related to the Government’s need (e.g. Accounting, Logistics, National Security, etc.)
- Ten (10) years of Life Cycle Logistics or Logistics management experience within the Operations and Support (O&S) phase of the Acquisition Life Cycle, and six (6) years of relevant experience supporting a program management office or capabilities development office in any related field.
- Eight (8) years of Acquisition Logistics or Logistics management experience supporting Special Operation Forces (SOF) operations
- The equivalency of a Life Cycle Logistics Level III training in DAWIA Certification
