Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.

The Application Development Sr. Advisor role is a position acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for applications built on the PEGA BPM platform. These applications are primarily used to price claims for several claim processing engines at Cigna. The role would require understanding of PEGA technology, production operations for IT, healthcare domain, basic setup of IT infrastructure (servers, network, database, etc.) and application monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, etc

Key Responsibilities
Partner with multiple IT and business teams throughout the various stages in software development for application built on PEGA BPM platform
Understand the Application architecture, infrastructure architecture, business functionality and technical design of PEGA applications
Provide comprehensive consultation to business unit and vendor services partners at the highest technical level on all phases of issue analysis, incident management and problem management
Partner with operational readiness team in coordinating & implementing projects into production environment
Responsible for Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Ownership - Document and certify the SOPs created by Support Analysts
Respond 7X24 to alerts & participate in managed incident calls; identify root cause & participate in triage/restoration efforts
Ensure change management processes on team are followed per Change and Release management guidelines
Ensure applications are available per business Standard Level Agreements (SLA), providing daily service status, measured by monthly SLA and operating reports
Act as SME for production best practices, technical and operating standards and workflow process

Required Experience / Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in IT
3+ years of experience on PEGA BPM in development, support or leadership role(s)
Excellent analytical skills
Understanding of object-oriented design/implementation, programming, and database concepts
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to form solid business relationships and partner across the enterprise

Preferred Experience / Qualifications
Experience in healthcare claims/provider/pricing data flows
2+ years of experience in a Production Support/Operations role
Experience with various toolsets such as Rally, Jira, Dynatrace, Splunk, and Service Now
