The Judge Group is looking for an experienced Sr. Content Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for helping to implement the overall content and social media strategy based on direction from the Director, Content Development and Distribution. The person in this role will be required to write and edit original content, such as blogs, video scripts, social media copy, case studies, whitepapers, emails, landing pages, and other content as needed in partnership with internal subject matter experts. This person will also be required to work with outside partners on content development.
Summary of Position:
Judge requires a Sr. Content Marketing Specialist who understands how to utilize and develop content creation, social media marketing, and recruitment marketing to create sales and revenue opportunities, broadly distribute the brand, drive search engine marketing rankings, and engage customers, prospects, and candidates with relevant, topical, and timely content that interests them and meets a need.
The right candidate is both creative and tactical. They can drive short and long-term plans, set goals, test and learn, measure, and manage.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Produce content to increase brand awareness, including blogs, press releases, emails, videos, reels, newsletters, infographics, landing pages, case studies, whitepapers, and more.
- Strategy and Tactics: With the support and direction of the Director, Content Development & Distribution, manage the editorial calendar, annual content planning, and social media marketing.
- Collaboration: Work frequently and collaboratively with in-house SMEs and third-party agencies to develop original content to support each line of business and stated goals associated with the content marketing strategy.
- Measure and Manage: Measure and analyze the reach, use, and impact of Judge’s content by internal stakeholders and external audiences. Assess the impact of social sites as referring platforms to the website and define actions/conversion goals. Work with the Marketing Content Specialist to establish goals for social marketing.
Requirements:
- College Degree in English, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, or Communications.
- 5+ years of writing and editing experience in corporate content creation and a strong portfolio of high-quality work on a variety of subjects.
- 5+ years in a customer-client-facing marketing planning and execution role, either internally within a business or externally within a third-party advertising, marketing, or digital marketing firm. Content creation and distribution focus preferred.
- Comfort in doing deep dive research and reviewing source materials for the development of original content. Not afraid to tackle technical subject matter, especially around technology topics.
- Experience in producing content for web, social, sales, and public relations. Strong writing skills with an ability to engage/interview subject matter experts to gather information are necessary to create targeted and engaging content.
- Strong competency in reviewing, proofreading, and editing copy and content for grammar, consistency, and adherence to standards and guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to write in a deadline-driven manner and environment.
- Demonstrate high levels of competence in overseeing project planning, scheduling, and management. Work closely with marketing and others in the business to create solutions and resolve problems.
- Receive feedback, evaluate opportunities, and generate ideas for new content and ways to engage target audiences through content creation and social media.
- Ability to work with people from all functions at all levels in the business in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment.
- Must have proven skills in being structured, process-driven, organized, and analytical.
- PC proficiency is required. A high degree of comfort with Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Excel PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Talent/Staffing industry experience would be great but is not required, but the ability to connect dots quickly and build relationships is vital.
- Experience with HubSpot, customer funnels, and digital marketing across the entire customer lifecycle
- Experience with WordPress
