The Job

Tango Card is looking for a Senior Credit Analyst to join our dynamic and growing company! This Senior Credit Analyst will help facilitate sustainable revenue growth, develop strong client relationships, protect company margins and profits, and maximize the value of the company's accounts receivable. This position is responsible for making credit decisions, which requires performing risk analysis and customer analytics in a time sensitive environment.

The ideal candidate is someone who blends credit experience with technical literacy & data-driven decision making; not to mention a customer-first mindset. The right person for this opening will embody a balance of flexibility, willingness to navigate through ambiguity, and versatility to adapt to changing needs and priorities.

Reports To: Senior Credit Manager

As Senior Credit Analyst at Tango Card, you will:

  • Assess financials through risk analysis, credit scoring, researching new/existing customers, providing analytics for credit line decisions, and working with the Sr. Credit Manager to develop a financial services function.
  • Understand full cycle accounts receivable, invoicing operations, terms & conditions agreements.
  • Guide day-to-day customer credit alerts and flex operations.
  • High Touch Enterprise collections, overseeing process and escalation of Credit & Collection roles.
  • Establish and maintain rapport with internal/external customers which align with company values.
  • Work collaboratively with Revenue, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance. Formalize a successful, cross-functional, and scalable process to support the credit function.
  • Contribute to hiring, retention and people development.
  • Support team with additional work as required due to business needs; cross-train on business critical functions and flex to support other team members as needed.

To be effective in our Senior Credit Analyst role, you must have:

  • 7+ years of meaningful work experience in Credit Analysis in a Commercial B2B role.
  • A bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas) utilizing data exports.
  • Embodies solution-oriented mindset; pragmatic and can drive concerns to resolution through proactive communication.
  • Skilled in verbal and written communication, including the ability to lead meetings and craft and deliver presentations.
  • Ability to nimbly balance with shifting priorities, enjoys the challenges of dynamic work with rapid change.
  • Ability to collaborate in a high-growth environment, across teams and with Sr. Executives, and with external customers.

Our ideal Senior Credit Analyst at Tango Card will have most of the following skills and experience:

  • Proximity to Seattle, the ability to work in the office one day a week or every other week.
  • NACM certification preferred
  • Tableau experience
  • Experience with Tango Card's productivity stack (specifically Monday.com)
