As Hagerty grows, we continue to look for talented data-savvy professionals from a variety of backgrounds to provide holistic solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a senior-level data analyst to support a critical humanitarian mission. This is a contract position that will require you to work onsite in the San Diego, California region (including San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial counties). Travel may be authorized for those not currently local to the region.

This is a high-tempo, client-facing operation that requires individuals who can engage in complex, sensitive, and fast-moving conversations and rapidly provide thoughtful analysis of problems, risks, and inefficiencies and solutions and recommendations to address them. The role requires individuals with a high level of professionalism, humility, interpersonal skills, and precision with communications.

In the position the Senior Data Analyst will:

  • Manage large data sets, including troubleshooting issues that arise within data set and identifying solutions for performing just-in-time analysis to meet evolving needs within the project.
  • Analyze complex data sets using statistical methods.
  • Create visualizations from existing data sets to support decision making.
  • Interface with technical and non-technical audiences to build consensus on data solutions and address project issues.
  • Develop and maintain processes for maintaining data set and performing analysis.
  • Communicate findings of analysis to senior leadership within the project (e.g., operational trends).

Candidates must have:

  • Advanced skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Five (5) or more years of professional experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of data analysis experience.
  • Superior written and oral professional communication skills.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities.

Candidates may have additional technical qualifications, such as:

  • Proficiency with PowerBI.

Salary range: $65,000-100,000

Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and training, licensure and certifications, location, travel requirements, and other business and organizational needs.
