You Will

Under the supervision of our VP, Legal, you will work directly with members of the Sitel Global Legal team, as well as employees in other business groups. Due to the volume of legal work we handle you will partner closely with Sitel Group, Privacy, Finance, Controlling, Global Procurement, and other supporting functions to negotiate global outsourcing deals, consult on day-to-day legal inquiries relating to client engagements, and carry out other projects and duties as needed.

• Draft, negotiate and review commercial agreements (both client and vendor contracts)
• Perform risk assessment related to commercial terms, identifying and vetting high-risk matters
• Facilitate approval and execution of commercial agreements.
• Prepare and update legal standards playbook and template agreements.
• Provide independent advice and counsel to internal business partners on legal matters, including contract interpretation and legal disputes.
• Perform other matters as requested.

You Have

• Juris Doctorate degree and member, in good standing, of at least one US State Bar.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the practice of transactional business law.
• Experience in a transactional practice that includes a significant professional services contract/information technology component is preferred.
• A proven curiosity about, and passion for, information technology.
• Experience in one or more of the following specialty areas is preferred: outsourcing, licensing, information technology, information security, data privacy.
• Experience with a technology company or major consumer of information technology products and services is preferred.
• An ability to communicate optimally and succinctly, both verbally and in writing, with technology and business personnel at all levels.
