Herzog Contracting Corp. is currently seeking a Senior Estimator in St. Joseph, Missouri to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.

• Work in a team environment and with other estimators
• Solicit subcontractors and material suppliers
• Complete take-offs
• Communicate to all parties professionally both orally and in writing
• Estimate close-out
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 10 Plus years estimating or equivalent work experience
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Heavybid
• High School Diploma or GED
• Four-Year degree in construction related field or equivalent experience preferred
• Solid communication skills
• Detail orientated and strong organizational skills
• Must work well in team environment
• Travel is required

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review
• Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen due to the safety sensitive nation of this position
• Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis
