Job Summary
Functioning as a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, this role is focused on evaluating, reporting and forecasting membership, revenue and healthcare cost information for company’s health plans. The role will also provide support for Medicare Advantage bid activities and provider contract rate development. The position will report to the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and the candidate is expected to grow into a managerial role as the company grows.
Functions & Job Responsibilities
- Administer, interpret and maintain current working knowledge of Clever Care Health Plan’s systems, procedures, forms, reports and manuals.
- Keep status of department current in accordance with service standards, systems, procedures, forms and manuals through staff meetings and verbal or written communications.
- Perform, evaluate and assist in defining and improving the quality, quantity and timeliness standards to achieve individual and department performance goals as defined within the department guidelines.
- Meet standards as defined within standard operating procedures for one or more of the following departments: Finance, accounting, cost accounting, statutory reporting.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
The position requires a full-time work schedule. Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any additional hours as requested or as needed to meet business requirements.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields
- 5-7 years processive experience in analyzing, interpreting and forecasting data
- Healthcare experience a plus
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in other Microsoft Word and PowerPoint programs
- Familiarity with Tableau, AWS and PowerBI platforms
- SQL programming capabilities a plus

- Ability to sit for long periods; stand, sit, reach, bend, lift up to fifteen (15) lbs.
Ability to express or exchange ideas to impart information to the public and to convey detailed instructions to staff accurately and quickly.
Work is performed in an office environment and/or remotely. The job involves frequent contact with staff and public. May occasionally be required to work irregular hours based on the needs of the business.
