POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Analyst coordinates and oversees variety of complex accounts to include but not limited to analyzing, reporting and monitoring records. Recommends areas of improvement to increase productivity and/or services. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates and oversees variety of complex accounts to include but not limited to analyzing, reporting and monitoring of financial records.
  • Recommends areas of improvement to increase productivity and/or services. May participate in the development and implementation of departmental and organizational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee and monitor financial systems and databases to ensure accuracy.
  • May lead and oversee the daily tasks of assigned staff to ensure projects are completed within a timely manner. May provide input for the evaluation process.
  • Serves as a departmental liaison and responds to inquiries as needed.
  • Participates and attends departmental meetings and professional development.
  • Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.
  • Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field of study; Relevant experience may be substituted for education
  • Three (3) years of related experience
  • Desired: Supervisory experience
Technical / Formal Training:
  • Financial/accounting/information systems
Abilities, Skills, and Knowledge:
  • Ability to communicate effectively and finish tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to follow oral and written instruction and established procedures
  • Advanced computer skills
