About the role:

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, and financial and operational reporting for the corporation. The Senior Financial Analyst will also support various ad hoc analyses and report creation, including financial and operational dashboards.

• Build, update and maintain financial models for business units and corporate departments which are utilized in the yearly budget and reforecast
• Assist in the project management of the yearly budget, coordinating with ten different teams to supply inputs and assumptions used in the financial models
• Prepare monthly budget to actual results, analyzing variances through deep-dives into the general ledger and SQL database. Present findings to CFO in concise, clear manner
• Analyze current and past financial data and performance, looking for trends and insights to help business units improve performance
• Evaluate capital utilization among 3 business lines and forecast capital needs
• Prepare reports and presentations on findings in Excel and PowerPoint
• Explore investment opportunities
• Coordinate with various other teams and business leaders to review financial information and work on other various ad hoc projects
• Support business analytics team in maintenance of budget to actuals Tableau pages and other financial metrics utilized in Tableau and operating systems
• Inform investment decisions by analyzing financial information to forecast business, industry or economic conditions
• Monitor developments in the real estate industry to incorporate into forecasts and models

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• 2+ years in financial analysis role or similar
• Financial analysis and modeling skills
• High degree of proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency with SQL and Tableau is a strong plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with an ability to pivot between various tasks
