Growing medical laboratory looking to hire HR Generalist. Lots of potential to grow with the company.

Reporting to the CEO, the HR Director is a position responsible for accomplishing human resource objectives by obtaining, recording, forwarding, and explaining human resources-related information. Tasks can vary daily but will include onboarding, benefits enrollment, answering questions, and administrative tasks while maintaining manager and employee confidence by keeping human resource information confidential. This position will support every department.

Key HR accountabilities:

  • Payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Provides oversite in preventing overtime.
  • Ability to deliver both good and bad news with tact.

Mandatory:

  • Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:
  • Associates degree in business, communication, human resources, or related field. Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related degree from an accredited University is preferred.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements surrounding recruitment, onboarding, employment law, training and development, and compensation.
  • Willingness to assume administrative support tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn ADP Total Source.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Professional phone skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
