Clarity Partners is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager local to Chicago, IL. The Senior HR Manager will oversee all aspects of Clarity Partners’ HR practices and processes, including talent acquisition, onboarding, compliance, total rewards, talent management and employee engagement. In addition, this position has a unique opportunity to serve as a strategic leader to a partner of Clarity Partners. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure operational excellence and efficiency of the entire Human Resources function.
  • Collaborate with leadership to understand the firm’s goals and strategy related to human resources.
  • Develop and implement streamlined HR strategies, processes and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy and enhance organizational performance.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the organization, make recommendations, and engage in executing changes.
  • Manage a cost-efficient benefits program to attract, retain, and reward top talent.
  • Administer and develop compensation and benefits programs to achieve market competitiveness and internal equity while also recognizing and retaining top performers.
  • Monitor and ensure the firm’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices.
  • Review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Develop innovative strategies to attract and retain a diverse pool of high-quality talent with the attributes to advance the needs of the business.
  • Ensure benefits are clearly communicated and well understood by employees.
  • Serve as a credible coach and confidante to leaders, as well as a strong employee advocate.
  • Resolve and manage grievances; serve as a resource to deliver disciplinary action as needed.
  • Foster a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Support the company’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Mentor, develop, and manage direct and indirect reports.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in continuous education and networking.
Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience as an HR professional with some management experience (a background in IT consulting or professional services is a plus).
  • Strategic and operational thinking to drive scalable business growth.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to resolve complex, often ambiguous problems.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a high level of professionalism.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication to a broad demographic of employees.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal oversight.
  • Positive and assertive interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work within stringent deadlines and to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to act with integrity and a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Demonstrated experience working with an HRIS (Paylocity experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • PHR/SPHR certification is desired.
