What You Will Do:
Perform a variety of laboratory operations (in a laboratory or plant). Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing quantitative and qualitative tests, performing calculations and determinations on tests, and evaluating experimental results. Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required
Assist in writing experimental reports, summaries, protocols, and appropriate documentation in lab notebook
Use standard laboratory equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed
Calculate product adjustments when results are outside of accepted range
Perform routine and safety program checks and preventive maintenance on instruments
Assume responsibility for minor projects
Work alongside teammates to maintain a clean, safe, efficient, and well-stocked laboratory
Minimum Qualifications:
Secondary diploma or equivalent
Two to four years of laboratory technician or closely related experience.
High attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work independently
Practical understanding of chemistry
Strong written and verbal communication skills
No immigration sponsorship available for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree in a science related field
Adaptability with a fluctuating workload/schedule
Experience with SAP
Experience with TPM Methodologies
Position Details:
Location: 942 Baker Rd, Martinsburg WV
Work week/shift: 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 2:00PM - 10:00PM
Rate of Pay: $27.00/hr
