As the Senior Manager, you will lead Red Bull's execution efforts within all 7-Eleven, Inc locations and will oversee a team of (7) Regional Account Managers (RAM)to implement Red Bull's Small Format strategies at over 12,600 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores. Your main responsibilities include: leadership coaching, external wiring and selling, planning against all projects, partner management, and Distributor Partner Leadership. You will report to the VP, 7-Eleven and be located in Dallas, Texas.

  • WIRE & SELL TO WIN

    Manage team to call on 7-Eleven field leaders to use Red Bull's assets and drive differentiation from competitors

    Ensure all 7-Eleven decision makers carry a long-term focus on the energy segment with supporting strategies

    Influence 7-Eleven field leaders to implement promotions/programming above HQ base plan to increase volume and win share

    Establish wiring model that ensures all local, regional, and national decision makers are wired with the appropriate Red Bull and Distributor Partner personnel

    Establish a trusting relationship with 7-Eleven HQ contacts as the conduit between the National Account Manager's national plans and the field's execution of those plans

    Develop business relationships with the 7-Eleven Zone leadership teams and serve as the main sales contact for the national FOA leadership team

    Assist the RAMs In developing local FOA wiring plans to ensure Return on investment & Increased participation In Red Bull projects

  • DEVELOP EXECUTION STRATEGIES

    Be the executional arm of the NAM's programming upon HQ approval

    Develop an execution strategy, define success and next steps for RAM team and deploy the appropriate resources to implement accordingly

    Wire with the Distribution Services team when the field programs require specialized surveys or reporting

    Provide training and resources for both the RAM to win the Zone Call and for the Account Sales Manager to win the Store Level call

  • LEADERSHIP

    Build a large geographically different RAM team across 4 time zones - to ensure partnership with important 7-Eleven Partners, and collaboration with Red Bull & Distributor Partners (DP) in each BU/region

    Coach and motivate your team for increased productivity according to defined performance measurements

    Develop RAMs' sales-based skills and create a bench of future Red Bull leaders while ensuring career development

    Allocate resources where the investment has the highest payback with important high-volume regions/DPs

    Coach the RAMs in developing a local region-level plan to ensure execution of the national programs and custom regional programming

  • DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT

    Collaborate with RAM team to develop DP tools, resources, and trainings Including how-to videos, sell sheets, customized period planning deck templates, etc.

    Partner with distribution network to maximize in-store presence and consumer impact

    Establish necessary tools and business review templates to ensure data consistency with BUs and DPs

    Use Business Insights and analyst teams to provide the distributor network and field with robust selling tools

    Align the DP network with appropriate 7-Eleven wiring contacts

EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years Sales and Key Account experience
  • Experience leading a high-performing team
  • In-depth knowledge of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) industry
  • Experience using internal and external data sources (i.e. Nielsen, IRI, CPM, Sales Data, BI)
  • Advanced, planning, financial management, sales presentation, & negotiation skills
  • Proficient in software packages and internal systems (CPM, SAP/BI)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree
  • English, additional languages an advantage
  • Travel 50-60%
