Position is full-time, exempt, hybrid (3 days in office currently; subject to change)
Summary of Position
The Senior Manager, Acquisition and Outreach, is responsible for the day-to-day management of member acquisition and outreach initiatives, including long-range plans to drive the growth of the Television Academy membership base. This role will also work closely with the VP, Membership and Outreach and Senior Director, Membership and Acquisition, to develop and implement outreach programs to identify individuals, productions, production companies, studios, and networks to drive a highly diverse and inclusive membership.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, build, and execute member acquisition plans (monthly, quarterly, and annual) with measurable targets, optimize program performance and deliver strategic plans to achieve/exceed specific campaign KPIs.
- Identify and implement A/B tests and tactics, innovating and continually seeking to drive and improve results on member acquisition campaigns across multiple channels.
- Create lead generation campaigns, managing from concept to execution.
- Integrate diversity and inclusion best practices across all member acquisition and outreach initiatives and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to ensure incorporation in all Academy programs and departments.
- Support the Senior Director, Membership and Acquisition in the processing of new, rejoin and network group membership applications.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all matters relating to acquisition performance.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum four years' experience in an acquisition role, B2B or association background.
- Have an innate sense of creative storytelling, copy, and design and how they impact performance.
- Proven analytical skills; ability to interpret raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Have an intimate understanding of how to activate the entire funnel to drive growth and are comfortable with both awareness and performance, direct response campaigns.
- Experience conducting community outreach online and in-person with diverse stakeholders.
- Highly developed presentation, creative and written communication skills, with the ability to self-edit.
- Adept at working in digital (SEO, SEM, social) as well as with traditional, offline channels.
