Job Description
As a member of the Global Commercial Payments Products Department, this Senior Manager Product position will l ead the team and the strategy to develop Commercial Card Reporting and Expense Management Solution with industry partners. You and the individual you manage will drive initiatives for growth and adoption of the product offering with internal and external colleagues. You will oversee strategy and create a product roadmap with short-term and long-term focus. Working with regional managers, you will help increase global acceptance of Discover with our network partners and help add their volume to the reporting and expense management solution.

What You’ll Do
Define, guide and execute product-related activities for a particular portfolio through the entirety of product lifecycle, from strategy and roadmap definition to development and market readiness.
Set business objectives for the product development process and oversee execution, internal or external, as necessary.
Monitor external trends within payments field for commercial card, network strategies and fintechs
Supervise product managers and product owners.
Work with minimal supervision.

How You’ll Do It
Lead design, development, and implementation of new product strategy to support both domestic and international partners.
Grow existing and/or build new product portfolio(s) through new value added features and functionality release and enhanced customer experiences.
Provide vision and direction to a team of product managers.
Closely liaison with internal stakeholders to deliver on shared goals and priorities.

Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or related field
2+ years of people management, or related experience
6+ years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Payments, Technology Solutions or Related
In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Payments, Technology Solutions or Related

Bonus Points If You Have
8+ years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Payments, Technology Solutions or Related
Experience in commercial products (corporate cards, virtual accounts, reporting, expense management), Fintech platforms, start-ups, or related
Experience in product consulting, product strategy, product commercialization, defining go-to-market approach for new products and/or new markets; Payment services experience/knowledge
Strong communication/presentation skills
Experience in Agile development and vendor management
