SmartSense is seeking a creative and organized Senior Marketing Events and Campaign Specialist to join our rapidly growing team. This person will drive SmartSense awareness and growth by leading campaign programs including event sponsorships, conferences, trade shows, and owned events across the country. The Senior Marketing Events and Campaigns Specialist is an integral member of the marketing team and reports to the Head of Marketing.
    • LOCATION: Must live near Boston, MA or Mishawaka, IN offices, and be able to commute regularly to the office
    • What you'll do:
    • Design, develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns that utilize email, CPC, direct mail, and other marketing tactics.
    • Own the SmartSense event marketing plan and KPIs
    • Lead planning and production of conferences, trade shows and events across the country and online.
    • Provide pre-event support, including researching events, solution providers, and coordinating all event logistics, messaging, collateral and supporting materials.
    • Develop comprehensive show plans that clearly document all aspects of an event and support the travel teams.
    • Provide on-site event support as needed to ensure successful execution of our event strategy.
    • Provide post-event support by compiling event feedback, creating recaps, and distributing leads via HubSpot and follow-up meetings.
    • Guide the internal design team and external vendors on event materials.
    • Create pre-event awareness campaigns using HubSpot, CPP, and other tools.
    • Curate target contact and account lists in HubSpot and maintain them for accuracy

    • Attributes we're looking for:
    • 3-5 years of experience in field event strategy, planning, and production, preferably for a technology or B2B company.
      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent real-world experience
    • Operationally minded with careful attention to detail
    • Comfortable handling multiple event details at once
    • Ability to stay calm and troubleshoot event challenges
    • Have a goal-oriented approach to all assigned tasks and initiatives
    • Ultra-organized with ability to multi-task
    • Passionate about sharing the SmartSense mission
    • Some travel required. 1-2 trips per quarter.

    • The ideal candidate will possess these skills:
    • Knowledge of industry tools including Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and HubSpot
    • Familiarity with digital marketing tactics across email, search, and paid media channels
    • Experience managing projects with third-party providers
    • Strong team player, motivated to work collaboratively across a variety of stakeholders
    • Project management skills with demonstrated ability to deliver tactics on time and on budget
    • Ability to deliver programs across market segments and target different personas
