Bullhorn is looking for a
Senior Software Engineer to join our Technology teams within our Specialized Businesses Unit division. This role would form part of a new team, focused on Reliability Engineering for one of the Bullhorn products, with a customer-first mantra of stabilization and optimization. We are looking for a passionate builder who is excited about improving the lives of our customers, our developers, and our operational teams.
A typical day might include
- Writing and unit testing clean, performant and reusable C#
- Designing and Implementing APIs in both .Net core and .Net Framework
- Debugging complex C#/SQL problems to find simple solutions
- Working with the team to design solutions for our customer’s problems
- Participating in code reviews and giving feedback to improve our code standards
- Mentoring, coaching and helping other developers
- Providing direction on future-looking technical, architectural and software design
This job might be for you if:
- You have 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- You live and breathe C#. SQL and Entity Framework
- You are comfortable with performance profilers for both .Net and SQL databases
- You have a good understanding of architectural views and design patterns
- You have previously worked with IIS and Windows services
- You are comfortable with REST and GraphQL
- You enjoy teaching and coaching less experienced developers
- You love solving problems with code and are driven by best practices
- You are a stickler for the right solution, and want to expand your technical prowess
- You are a team player and would rather ask for help than stay stuck for hours
Bonus points for
- Experience with front end web technologies: Angular 2+, React
- Experience with running production code in Azure or other SAAS/IAAS provider
- A Github account with code examples. Show us what you can do!
