As Senior Developer, you will work closely with members of the project team to assist in designing, building, and maintaining of websites and applications with optimized user experience, including creation of HTML markup and CSS, authoring and modifying JavaScript, providing design and user experience expertise, and working with our Oracle NetSuite SCA platform. Working with business owners and project teams, the Senior Developer will ensure recommendations are implemented into final products. In addition, the Senior Developer will create interactive components using scripting languages and enhance the authoring experience for internal content managers.

Ideal candidates bring a minimum of four years proven full-stack development experience, particularly in a NetSuite environment, as well as user and interaction design experience. Dotnet experience is highly desirable.

Position requires a highly analytical and forward-thinking leader, with strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities and Essential Skills/Knowledge:
While the focus of the role will be on NetSuite customization, as a generalist you should be able to contribute to other efforts as needed including:

Expertise in Internet programming languages and markup, including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript on Mobile and desktop browsers.

Strong technical skills focused on current web and mobile device content development and delivery.

Solid understanding of user-centered design methodology.

Thorough familiarity with application development methodologies and experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

Knowledge of cross-platform, digital formats for multimedia delivery and digital asset management, including text, images, video, and audio on web, mobile devices, and tablets.

Demonstrated knowledge of multiple software applications, web services, and cross platform execution.

Experience with computer graphic and multimedia design and the ability to create and modify web design artifacts when necessary.

Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements.

Experience with current development frameworks like JQuery, Typescript, Vue.js.

Experience with current development workflows and tools (TFS, Gulp, Grunt, Git).

Experience with content management systems and web publishing tools; Kentico is preferred.

Experience with computer graphic and multimedia design.

Suite Commerce Advanced Development skills are highly desirable:

NetSuite SCA customization experience, building extensions and themes.

SuiteScript 1.0 & 2.x development (restlet, user event, map/reduce), workflows.

Advanced experience using HTML, JavaScript, Backbone.js, Handlebars.js, Underscore.js, jQuery, CSS, Sass, SQL, Git

Experience designing and building custom objects and searches within NetSuite

Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP-SuiteTalk)

Work with website owners in an agile fashion providing assistance and expertise with website maintenance and enhancements.

Use a combination of markup languages to write web pages.

Write and interpret functional requirement documents and specifications.

Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms.
