Overview:
General Description
Responsible for the management and tracking of new hires from the point where an employment offer has been accepted through the employee’s first year, including all pre-boarding activities. In addition, this position will provide leadership and support for the Onboarding Specialists and various HR related projects.

Must work from the corporate office in Greenville , SC.
Responsibilities:
Principal Responsibilities and Duties
These statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered a detailed description of work requirements that may be involved.

  • Administer electronic onboarding process to include, new hire/rehire background check, drug screens, and

I-9’s, as well as all pre-boarding certification and licensure requirements.

  • Leads Onboarding team members by providing guidance and resources for day-to-day questions and inquiries. Assists with training and education of the onboarding staff.
  • Responsible for researching state and facility credentialing requirements for their and their direct reports new contracts. Also responsible to stay abreast of state and facility credential changes under their purview.
  • Actively collaborates with the HR team on key department initiatives to include HR Functions, HR Strategy, Employee Engagement, Total Rewards, Performance & Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and HR Operations & Infrastructure. Provide feedback and opportunities for improvement to the Senior HR Leadership Team.
  • Promotes positive employee relations by facilitating onboarding deliverables through an atmosphere of open communication.
  • Perform other related assignments as required.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and Skills

  • Requires basic knowledge of principles and practices of human resources typically commensurate with 1-3 years of related experience
  • Communicates effectively and professionally in all situations with varying personalities of customers, potential new hires, employees and management
  • Able to adapt to changes in the work environment, can handle various demands and unexpected events
  • Maintain confidentially of company employee information
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completion
  • Prioritizes work activities to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to remain seated for extended periods of time
  • Associates degree or equivalent training
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
