Sr. Level Packaging Designer

Cushioned/Fragility Packaging

Requirements:

• Each candidate will be required to provide a portfolio of their own packaging solution designs and the associated value each design provided to the end customer.

• No less than 5 years’ experience using 2D software such as ArtiosCad.

• No less than 5 years’ experience using 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, PTC Creo or other.

• Experience with rendering 3D models leveraging add on software such as Keyshot.

• Ability to design utilizing various packaging materials such as corrugated, PE foam, molded fiber, and other cushioning materials.

• Detailed knowledge of the various manufacturing processes to ensure designs are reproducible in a manufacturing environment.

• Experienced with ISTA test protocol and interpretation of the results.

• Ability to perform ISTA testing operations to verify designs.

Ability to run CAD table to produce testing and customer corrugated and foam samples.

• Familiarity with using Life Cycle Analysis software such as ThinkStep or Compass to perform sustainability assessments on designs.
