As a Senior Product Manager in the HPE Compute Product Management team, you will help define and deliver HPE Compute IaaS Offerings and drive the HPE vision to bring the compute cloud experience everywhere: to the edge, the datacenter, or a co-location facility. You will play a broad role including both inbound tasks (defining strategic requirements, working with Product Owners to design features, prioritizing roadmap items, etc.) and outbound ones (creating marketing collateral and solution guides, socializing product vision, and enabling go-to-market teams).

How You'll Make Your Mark

  • Independently leads and drives the end-to-end strategy and operational product roadmap for Compute management IaaS
  • Builds and delivers the value proposition, target customer segments, and business case to bring capabilities to market for the product portfolio (i.e., Product configuration mix, Revenue/Margins, financials, market share).
  • Synthesizes market requirements into marketing/customer details through having intimate customer knowledge and business, financial and industry market acumen.
  • Responsible for the product requirements definition and execution to meet customer requirements and product capabilities/features.
  • Creates and drives goal alignment and collaborates across all the value chain partners to achieve product success as per plan and optimize margins across the product lifecycle. (i.e., Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, Go-To-Market, Sales, Customer Success, Finance etc).
  • Executes to the agile product management methodology.
  • Identifies and executes on potential partner relationships (technology, reseller and/or system integrator) as required to advance product portfolio, and/or reach
  • Partners with HPE GreenLake platform and HPE cloud services to bring integrated solutions to market with unique customer value proposition
  • Defines and measures key performance indicators to evaluate and understand product value
  • Identifies and models future growth opportunities for the business

About You

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study. MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
  • Multiple years of work experience in a related field
  • Proven ability to define and execute a business strategy that drives operational excellence & profit.
  • Strong technology foundation and business acumen and understand the technology strategy in the market.
  • Extensive experience in the software product management role
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of cloud technology and enterprise IT
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies
  • Extensive team skills, and the ability to cross-functionally drive/influence work through others to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects
  • Extensive business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection
  • Ability to synthesize inputs from multiple sources to create a prioritized roadmap
  • Ability to communicate effectively to audiences up and down the organizational hierarchy and of any technical background
  • Experience with delivery of cloud infrastructure or services, customer use cases, and market segmentation.
  • Exceptional team management skills, ability to lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects.
  • A talent for turning complex cloud concepts into an understandable stories consumable by design teams, field and customers.
  • Experience with the technologies of multiple public cloud providers, including AWS, Azure and Google
  • Expert skills in cost-efficient solution building
  • Knowledge of IaaS software architecture

Annual Salary: $109,400.00 - $251,500.00
