Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for overall program office operations to support the coordination and completion of program projects and tasks.

Supports/assists the GPM with oversight and tracking of all aspects of program projects and tasks.

Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of projects.

Reviews all office correspondence to include project statement of works, acquisition documentation and presentation material for submission to approving officials and higher headquarters.


Tasks Performed:

Assist the Program Manager with monitoring the management and retention of program documentation/program schedules on office networks; including configuration management, folder set-up, general database development, and management of all program documentation and correspondence to ease access, review, retrieval, and filing of all program-related documents, data calls, and briefs.

Prepares reports and briefings for the Program Manager, upper management and higher headquarters regarding status of all office projects.

Maintains Program Manager overarching schedules and performs executive assistance duties.

Assist the program office in classification marking, control of information, and reviews to properly catalog documentation in the program’s databases/libraries.

Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.


Required Experience:

  • Five (5) years of business/management/development/integration experience with aircraft, weapons, and/or operations;
  • Knowledge and capability in developing DoD systems acquisition requirements, documentation development, financial and/or technical requirements
  • Knowledge and capability in planning, management, budgeting, coordinating technical requirements, and contract requirements
  • Experience in developing briefs and documentation for senior leadership, DoD and/or service program acquisition, Congressional and/or financial reviews
  • Two (2) years of current experience preparing project budgets.

Appropriate educational background may be substituted for this experience.


Desired Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or management field or equivalent experience.
