Senior Reporting Analyst - Remote

Role Overview:

McAfee seeks an experienced, capable, and key contributor to join the reporting team. The role requires the ability to handle reporting responsibilities for multiple stakeholders with a high degree of accuracy. Having recently gone private, this position will play a key role in establishing and maintaining reporting processes for our lenders and private equity sponsors, delivering accurate and timely reporting on a quarterly-basis and will work closely with our Big 4 auditors.

This is a remote position in the United States. We will only consider candidates currently in the United States and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the role:

• Prepares and maintains equity-related disclosures including the statement of equity, capitalization table, preferred stock, noncontrolling interests, and equity incentives footnote
• Prepares quarterly external reporting for our lenders and sponsors, while maintaining SEC-ready processes and disclosures
• Authors select GAAP statements, footnote disclosures, and Management’s Discussion and Analysis
• Works independently with key personnel throughout the organization, including Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, and Big 4 Auditors
• Maintains internal reporting deadlines monthly and assists with ad-hoc reporting requests
• Proactively assists in identifying and implementing improvements in both manual and IT-dependent reporting processes
• Performs reporting benchmarking and provides recommendations for disclosure items
• Capable of technical research for reporting requirements of unique transactions
• Successfully collaborates with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls and provides support on special requests when necessary
• Able to prioritize workload based on the current needs of the team
• Assists with other ad-hoc reporting projects

About you:

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience; CPA a plus
• Diverse professional background including a combination of private and public experience, prior SEC reporting experience a plus
• Experience in the technology industry is a plus
• Strong team player with a positive, professional attitude who is committed to meeting deadlines, including willingness to work additional hours, as needed
• High level of integrity, demonstrate absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information
• Exceptional analytical capabilities and a data-driven management approach
• Strong project management skills and the ability to adapt to and interpret new situations with attention to detail in order to reach the correct conclusions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a fluid, interactive, matrixed environment
• Ability to bring structure to vaguely defined and complex problems, develop pragmatic solutions, and effectively manage execution
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a record of increasing responsibility
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including creating and manipulating spreadsheets in Excel
• Previous use of SAP, BPC, Workiva, and/or Active Disclosure is a plus
