The ideal candidate must have Revenue Accounting experience in the Health Care industry.

As the foundation of our Revenue Accounting team, the senior revenue analyst is responsible for revenue analysis at USACS. Reporting to the Manager of Revenue Recognition, this person will provide data and analysis to senior management by recording and estimating revenue and projecting future revenue for the business. The revenue analyst is involved in monthly estimates, forecasts, analysis and annual budget preparation. The position will be directly involved in improving model performance and accuracy though design input working with Accounting, Finance and Operations executives.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Record monthly revenue using current SQL/Excel model with input from electronic data warehouse, revenue cycle management team and other sources.
  • Work with payer contracting team to analyze impact of new contracts, tax ID consolidations and other changes to specific locations.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to understand what impacts revenue and provide indicators of changing revenue markets.
  • Contribute to the revenue team in developing and improving upon the revenue model.
  • Work collaboratively with groups across various geographies and provide value-added analysis to business leaders.
  • Develop, validate, challenge and explain key trends, indicators and performance.
  • Articulate assumptions, risks, opportunities and variables in the revenue projection at monthly and ad hoc meetings with Division Presidents and Finance and Accounting Executives.
  • Communicate techniques, assumptions and models verbally and in written format.
  • Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
  • Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
  • Increases productivity through process improvement (data gathering, models, schedules)
  • Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another related field. MBA a plus.
  • At least 5 years of related experience in finance.
  • Health care industry experience required.
  • Strong computer knowledge and skills including Advanced MS Excel, SQL and PowerPoint.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
