Description
Design and execute in vivo studies to generate proof-of-concept data in high-priority disease indications and assist with IND-enabling studies.
- Work with an internal, cross-functional team and with external CROs to coordinate in vivo studies, including efficacy studies, PK/PD, biodistribution and safety studies.
- Manage work with external CRO including traveling to CRO and providing oversight to key aspects of studies as needed.
- Author study reports across various preclinical studies.
- Help build a strong internal team with core technical expertise predicated on team member growth and development.
- Help strengthen external collaborations in pharmacology related to high-priority programs.
- Analyze, interpret, and present key results at group and project team meetings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with preparing regulatory submission documents including briefing documents and IND sections.
- Implement and maintain good documentation practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in a biological science, immunology, pharmacology or equivalent, with 5+ years experience
- Industry experience of 3+ years in relevant field is required.
- Experience leading collaborations with CROs is a plus.
- Familiarity with preclinical regulatory requirements and prior experience with writing IND sections are highly desired.
- Prior experience with safety and PK/Biodistribution study management and design - highly desired.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
