Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is seeking a Software Developer with an active Secret Clearance in Aurora CO. Relocation assistance available provided candidate meets eligibility requirements.

Life with Raytheon Intelligence and Space

In this role, you will be leading a team of talented software engineers who are designing, developing, and maintaining next-generation satellite ground station software.

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $7500K for a person with a Secret clearance that can be verified and hired here at Raytheon Intelligence & Space.

Required Skills

• Experience with Real Time Embedded Software Development

• Experience with C in a Linux environment

• Experience with VxWorks

• Experience with Satellite Mission Situational Awareness

• Must have a current/active U. S. Government Secret security clearance

Education/Experience Requirements

• 6 years of relevant experience and a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) Bachelor’s degree are typically needed for this role. A Master’s degree in a STEM field may be substituted for 2 years of work experience. Non-degreed professionals with demonstrated skills and relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Effects Based Operations of Satellite Systems or experience with some area of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models.

• Must have a strong math background

"In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $89,000.00 to $189,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
