Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
  • Architect, configure, and document core On-Premises and any Multi cloud services including virtual machines, DNS, storage, and monitoring across the organization.
  • System administration and support (including data backup, security management, user account management, e-mail systems, mobile device management, storage management)
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, virtual environments, application software and system management tools
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, including ownership of backup, disaster recovery, and other redundancy strategies.
  • Develop and maintain automated solutions using scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
  • Provide second level support to the end users and provide after-hours support for the business as they relate to specific IT projects or major incidents
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support and provide technical direction to support staff, including documentation and training
  • Liaise with vendors, management, and IT personnel for problem resolution
  • Provide direct support to other technology teams
  • Rotating after hours on-call supported required
  • Ability to drive between locations as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, or a related technical field a plus
  • Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management.
  • Experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing enterprise monitoring infrastructures, such as SolarWinds
  • Strong scripting and automation (PowerShell, VBS, BAT, Python, etc.)
  • Direct, hands-on experience with automated software management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • 5+ years of experience with Cloud SaaS operations with Microsoft Azure, AWS, OCI
  • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure Automation or IaS scripting
  • Strong understanding and technical knowledge of current network and operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards, including:
    • Migration and support knowledge of cloud services including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure/Office 365 or Google
    • Microsoft Active Directory/Azure Active Directory
    • Microsoft Exchange mail system (Hybrid)
    • Microsoft SCCM/Quest KACE
    • Enterprise MDM solutions (Intune, Workspace One, JAMF)
    • Windows Servers 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2019
    • Linux Operating systems (Red Hat preferred)
    • SQL, IIS, RADIUS, NPS and other back-office Microsoft technologies
    • VMware virtualization (ESX, vCenter)
    • All Windows desktop Operating systems
    • Enterprise backup solution (Veeam data protection)
    • Cisco UCS or other blade technology
    • Enterprise storage systems (SAN and NAS)
    • Apple technologies including Mac platform
    • Knowledge of Adobe Cloud software a plus
    • Endpoint protection technology
    • IT security best practices
  • Experience with PCI and SOX concepts a strong plus
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Experience with ITIL and Agile process including ServiceNow platform
  • Ability to demonstrate troubleshooting skills, think analytically while working in a fast paced dynamic and growing IT environment and the flexibility to work with a wide range of technologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter who can work autonomously or within a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • MCP, MCSE, and/or CCNA certification a plus

The pay range for this position is $92,000 to $138,000 annually. Pay may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience; educational background; and geographic location. Dependent on the position offered, benefits, bonus and incentive payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
