POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, reporting directly to the Director of Talent Acquisition, has enterprise-wide talent acquisition responsibilities. The Talent Acquisition team’s primary goal is supporting the growth of our subsidiary companies, Sachs Electric, Parsons Electric, Sprig Electric, Mona Electric Group, and ArchKey Technologies, and finding the right talent to tackle the most complex, gnarly, and challenging projects in the country.
DAY to DAY
Manage full cycle recruitment from screening to offer and initial on-boarding for assigned requisitions- Provide a best-in-class candidate experience
- Partner with hiring managers and leaders to support growth needs, establish best practices, consult and influence as needed and a dedicated commitment to diverse, equitable and inclusive hiring
- Proactively source candidates and consistently building a network through various tools and social media
- Collaborate with the Director of Talent Acquisition and team to build a world class Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence
- Model and reinforce safety as a top priority
- Support campus hiring, career fairs and networking events
- 5+years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources (bachelor’s degree preferred but not required)
- Ability to identify, source and engage candidates through creative and innovative sourcing approaches utilizing various sourcing tools / techniques
- Capability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draws valid conclusions
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong presentation skills, especially to convey information to key stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to assist others even if outside the normal scope of responsibilities.
- Efficient and effective organization and time management skills.
- Demonstrated success partnering with hiring managers to fill open positions, acting as a thought leader to develop recruiting strategies, push hiring managers to make critical decisions, and drive creative approaches at all points in the recruiting funnel
- An innovative approach and the ability to be organized and work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems, and Recruiting Platforms
- Self-starter and able to work independently
- Skilled at operating with a sense of urgency in all stages of the recruiting cycle
- Construction industry experience is a plus
