LinQuest is seeking a remote Senior UI / Web Application Developer to join our team. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance is required.


The Senior UI / Web Application Developer will be expected to execute data-oriented solution development efforts while mentoring junior application developers. Candidates must be able to understand high level customer requirements, and strategic user interface (UI) design in both form and function. Software developers must have a strong background in computer science and existing experience in modern front-end web development.


In this role, the software developer will architect and build front end features and engineer optimized data and input collection into the web application. Preferred candidates should be at the forefront of modern front-end development, using functional REACT.js (Typescript) with hooks and have the experience to lead other front end developers.


Responsibilities:

  • Architect and build front end features and engineer optimized data and input collection into the web application using functional REACT.js
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, application, and database developers to capture and interpret requirements
  • Create architectures and design patterns for application, discovery, and analysis
  • Identify and assess software and platforms to support public facing APIs and services
  • Design, develop, and implement front-end code to support a multi-role search, information access, and analytics
  • Assist in the creation, execution, and management of backlogs


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • At least 5+ years' experience as a software developer in a professional setting including:
    • Current experience in modern front-end web development
    • Experience building attractive and intuitive web applications using React.js and Material
  • Ability to understand high level customer requirements, and strategic user interface (UI) design in both form and function
  • Ability and motivation to self-teach in order to stay current with leading best practices in front-end web applications and services
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a clearance is required

Compensation
(for Colorado only):

  • Starting salary ranges from $125,000 to $150,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
