*About The Role:

TodayTix is seeking an SEO Manager to play a key strategic and executional role in our global business. The SEO manager will be responsible for inputting, managing, and executing the TodayTix Group SEO strategy, across our portfolio of brands including TodayTix, New York Theatre Guide, Goldstar, Show-Score, and more. This person will sit on the Growth Marketing team and report into the Director of Editorial + SEO.

Working closely and collaboratively with the SEO/Editorial team, the SEO Manager will serve as a key representative and knowledge source for SEO initiatives, priorities, and interests across departments, representing and advocating for optimizations and strategy across the organization and linking those recommendations and projects to clear business goals and data-driven forecasts. The SEO Manager will also partner closely with our SEO agency to deliver priorities and oversee workflows and projects, keeping the agency apprised of business goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will be an SEO specialist with strong experience in both technical and content realms and have exposure to and experience working with paid growth teams and other marketing channels (CRM, social, etc.). With a foundational understanding of SEO best practices and industry trends, the ideal candidate will recognize that the world of SEO is constantly changing and will have a curiosity and eagerness to continue learning and share those findings across the organization.

Please note:* This is a full-time role that can be performed remotely or in our NYC office. Qualified candidates must be based in the U.S. For those based in the greater NYC area, when it comes to determining whether to work in the office, remotely, or a mix of both, we empower our teams to design what works best for them.

The base salary range for this role is $65k–$85k. Salary ranges are determined by competitive market data for our size, stage, and industry, experience and location of the applicant, and our internal salary banding, which is reviewed at least annually.

We aim to be as transparent, equitable, and fair as possible. Qualified candidates and our Talent Acquisition team will discuss salary and benefits in the initial conversation, and final salary will be determined after candidates complete the interview process. We expect that the majority of candidates who are offered roles at TTG fall healthily throughout the range based on the above factors.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the SEO/Editorial team with development and execution against the company’s SEO strategy, identifying areas of growth, improvement and putting together tactical next steps to achieve those goals
  • Work closely with the SEO agency to deliver priorities and opportunities and follow the work through from concept to execution to reporting
  • Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to identify core fixes to improve site performance, core web vitals, and overall site structure and monitor these optimizations for performance
  • Partner with the paid search team to identify keyword gaps and overlap
  • Perform ongoing keyword research and opportunity spotting for content and editorial development, working closely with the editorial team and global marketing team
  • Work across teams to support new campaigns and show launches where required
  • Serve as an SEO knowledge base, providing educational support and tools to other teams on SEO topics
  • Work on monthly reporting & data analysis, spotting opportunities for improvement and offering actionable insight
  • Perform technical audits and run site crawls and provide recommendations in line with industry best practices
  • Keep up to date with market trends and changes in the industry
  • Support with the development of site, competitor and link audits

We're Looking for Someone With:

  • 5+ years of experience working in an SEO specialist role in-house or client-side at an agency working on end-to-end SEO projects
  • Successful track record managing and delivering channel growth in competitive verticals
  • Ability to build successful ROI-based projections tied to SEO initiatives and projects
  • Proactive and used to working independently. You will be an excellent time manager, and able to prioritize and manage your workflow successfully
  • Strong communication skills and confident decision maker. You will work cross-functionally and will be expected to bring the SEO point of view to the table
  • Passion for and interest in SEO, with a strong knowledge base and a curiosity and eagerness to grow and learn more
  • Deep understanding of SEO and data analytics tools, including SEMrush, Google Suite (GA4, Search Console, Data Studio), screaming frog, etc
